Im thinking about getting a better seat for my car and would prefer a black one that will bolt to the runners and not hit the wings on the side of the car(or one that is EASILY modded so it doesnt hit.)...
Any one got any suggestions? I dont want to spend a fortune.
Im a short ass so no prob with height!

whats the difference between the sprint and the sprint junior??
How far back does your seat go. and does it foul on the seta belt tower?
I have a hard top and need to be able to use the hard top clips on the sides, as well as slide the seat right back.
I know the sparco's will bolt to the runners.. how much modification was required...

Oh yeah and how much were the Juniors??

Sorry 4sfed5, can't suggest a seat but am rather curious as to what people are using also. :?

Do "Race Seats" need to be engineered/complied in Victoria? When Mickfred was in Melbourne, I noticed he had compliance plates rivited on the firewall? 8)

You can pickup brand new Spraco sprints off ebay for pretty cheap...

Also has anyone looked at the velo racing seats? They are FIA approved, and ADR compliant. So should have no worries using them in your road/track car.

heres their website.

Do you know what the seats are like after a full day of driving? Do they get uncomfortable?

There a set of Sparcos (not sure what model) on ebay. Click Here. $400 with MX5 rails already fitted but has damage patch.

For me I can't justify the Sprint as the vast majority of driving is around town, in an d out of the car on weekends, nor will I gain WAF for it. I think the Sparco Roadster looks a great option, though expensive at $999.

For open racing if you change the seats they have to be fixed back...not sure what the rules are for sprints.

ah crap.. fixed back only for opens hey?...

if they are FIA approved would that mean it was okay though? even for road worthy engineering certs?

because damn thats a sexy seat :P and its constructed to be as low a ride possible so would help with head and leg room.. but if i have to get the fixed back type... i will
