Someone pinched me rear demister switch!

Well not really, but maybe!

Have hardtop with demister.

Have connector harness behind passenger seat.

Don't have demister switch on the dash.

Where can I get demister switch and if I trace the wires from the connector harness should I expect the loom to run to behind the dash and make switch installation easy?

I wonder if i have one of these in the NA dash rusting away down the side of my house .. remind me to check when it's light.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
