square head lights

ok i know a whole bunch of die hard mx5 fans will wanna hill me for this but i really dong like the high, round headlights, has anyone got lower profile square lights or anything else, how much, how hard and visabiliity? anything would be appreciated, come on now dont be shy, show us ur head lights :lol: :lol: :mrgreen:

haha yeah i lije ya low profile lighrs daz but i just cant help but like the the square ones like on the rx7 or 180

Okay. You could try pinching the lights from an 89-93 Astina if you wanted square/rectangular ones. Ditto for many other cars of that vintage - Nissan Exa, Toyota Celica, etc. If you get one from a Mazda they shouldn't be too hard to fit, surely.

I personally can't see why it wouldn't be legal. The replacement lamps, assuming you get them from another road car will be ADR-approved.

yeah but i was planing on making it s the barn doors didnt come up as high

They'd still retain the shape of the originals... I personally think it'd be fine and anyone would be hard pressed to notice that they're not stock.

Anyone have a copy of the relevant ADR(s)?
