Not sure about other states but NSW Autobarn currently has 20% off Meguiars products and K-mart (which also sell some Meguiars stuff) has 15% off everything for the next few days.

Correct, you can get it from Supercheap, or Autobarn (if you have those down there).

Have a read thru some of the pages here http://www.waxwizard.com.au/

They have many tips for looking after your car along with the products that you can buy online.

I know they offer discounts to the wrx club, pretty sure something could be setup for the mx5 club if it hasn't been already.

Quick Detailer works great on dark coloured cars between waxes. Use it once a month or so to keep your baby gleaming. It hides light swirl marks too.

Quick Wax doesn't work very well on black cars but works great on white. I found it left the paint a bit blotchy on my car but worked great on the MoneyPit.

I tried quick detailer on my 200SX (fire engine red) and I didn't like it, left it swirly and did nothing for the gleam. That said on Max (white) it worked really well!

Strange, it worked great on my red NA and on Jeans Mahogany.

I found that it left a slight residue, was nice and shiny, but not as nice as a real wax.

I just started using Autolgym's Super Resin Polish and I have to say that it comes up pretty nice. Although shinier than meguires stuff the shine doesn't seem to last as long :(

"Some people will tell you to put a sealant over the top of the wax, like Meg. Wet Look Polymer sealant but I believe Tech Wax to be a good enough final product.."

Don't you put the Polymer sealant down BEFORE the wax ? :?

the polymer sealant replaces the wax.
