That's pretty much the combo I've been using, but hadn't had a need to use the scrach X for a while.

Despite the warning on the bottle, I;ve used scratch X on a buffer at very low speed and seen excellent results.
When results speak for themselves - don't interrupt.

Aquawax - Spray on after rinsing (and sheeting most of the rinse water off) and dry off with a microfibre cloth/towel. It actually seems to help dry off the car. It can also be used after the car has been dried. It's a spray on sealant and lasts much longer than a wax.

Duragloss 105 sealant - wipe on and buff off when dry.

Good to use as a base for extra protection and will last for 6-12 months depending on how much time the car is out in the weather.


Do you use put on Duragloss after you've used aquawax?

So far I've only used Aquawax on the NC. I will be giving it a clay and a coat of 105 in winter and then continuing with the Aquawax until winter 2009.
