There it is I guess where talking about the white connector under the steering wheel, the one where the wires are bundled together with yellow tape( thus reference to egyptian wiring method)

The two green wires which go into a seperate white connector next to the big white one I thought originally were the ones, easy to unplug, turned out to be the horn

But in the second photo you can see the blue with red/orange stripes which are the ones described in the original instructions going into a different (black) connector lower down just above the feet.

Dude, you've been looking in the wrong spot. We've been saying it's on the LEFT hand side of the steering column... I have circled a plug from the second photo. The one you are after is ABOVE the plug circled and only has two wires. It's the only one up there.

i wouldnt say the instructions werent any good, they clearly did say when sitting in the drivers seat, looking towards the steering wheel the connectors are on the left hand side.

either way problems fixed now

Yeah how about mentioning removing the bottom cover plate and then getting down on the floor turning your head and using a torch look straight up and then you can see it :!:
