Proclip in two positions in Snowie. Plenty of room to adjust stereo. It just clips right in and out.

Thanks for putting them up! How sturdy does it feel mounted there? you say it just clips in and out easily, do you think it would be able to hold up to track and "spirited" driving use?

yep, It has double sided tape which holds it in. Mine doesn't any more as have had the dash out more times than anyone should have to.
In the white car I run MCA Reds which are set very hard and I have had no problems.

Phil Ashton has one in his NC and races that every possible chance ans as far as I know has had no Issues. They have little screws that you can tighten and this stops the adjustment and makes it lock solid. I think Regie uses them as well but not 100% sure on that.

I think Its pretty good.

Richard.

Sorry for the delay in posting these photo's .
I wanted to use the phone mount in 2 cars and also wanted to be able to use the ipad when I do track days so I added a quick release.
I think it has turned out well.

Does the phone face you when driving? or does it face at an off angle?

The phone faces me as I sit as far back as possible. The base plate has a small angle to the driver and the mount allows the holder to face an additional 15 degrees.

Oh that's awesome, I might just get this then, How does the mount go with handling the weight of the iPad? any shaking and vibration?

Not sure about vibration or movement on the track. I have only just installed it.
I may see if I can find a way to put some foam between the ipad and the console when on the track to dampen any movement.
