Definitely not the quality of Sparco, Bride etc... But at a fraction of the price. They hold you nice and firm, and I'll be honest, were more comfortable than
a few Recaro variants.

Would it be possible to customise stock rails to accommodate the SAAS, or no chance? How did you find it during daily use? Easy/comfortable enough? I'm not looking for the most comfortable seat in the world haha, I can put up with a bit of firmness, just don't want to be in pain after a longer drive.

Fwiw I've managed to fit a seat 70 mm wider in the wings than a sprint. Hits door card slightly and was a mission to space out correctly but it fitted with nothing modified on a pci rail. Food for thought.

Oh that's good news! Opens up a few more options possibly. What seat did you manage to fit in and is it suitable for daily duties?

See my build log for details. It's a velo podium. Not daily suitable. Here's a pic of the drivers side door handle. Gives you an idea on how high the sides actually are...

I can't close the soft top while sitting. I can't get in without the door completely opened wide or removing the steering wheel. (Think about a car park where you have enough space to do so these days!)

It's always a compromise. It feels extremely comfortable but new they're 3x the price plus you need a side mount rail solution. (More $$)

Wow that is snug! Yeh I'd kinda hopefully like to not have to open the door in its entirety just to get in and out as not all car parks would accommodate this haha.
