there is no way that this can be repaired - you will never get any strength into it - unlikely to get a good bond and cable ties would not hold it rigid and it would like frankensteins monster and fracture in a blink. Prove me wrong- post up photos of repaired part.

There are several people on the forum who are glass/carbon wizards (lightyear, ferexample), and I've been doing it on/off for everal years.

If you wanna know how, we'll help 8)

Easily repaired by a good plastic welder.

But since you have three cracks, it'll probably cost a fair bit ~$250.

Better off cable tieing it, or buying a new one.

Completely disagree.

My old GV lip was split into many many pieces, cable tied it up fine.

On the newer one that was on my car, I had it plastic welded up fine. Both are fine solutions.

I'll have the surface composition catalyst next week. So leave the thing with me and I'll get it done over the weekend.

I have worked in plastic repairs so I know it can be repaired but yeah, it'll never be as strong as it was.

My repairs will look 1000x better than fluoro cable-tie stitching.

Mind if I help? I want to learn, or at least wee 1:1 how to fix it so I at least have a rough understanding of what to do etc.

I reckon I'll vinyl wrap the thing when it's done. Toby did that with his and the gloss black really sets it off. Should act like a second skin on this one and hold it together a little as well.

I'm keen on a group buy if you decide to turn this one into a mould and make multiples.

Here's an idea - go to Bunnings and buy a tube of silicon sealant. That stuff sticks and is strong and invisible (buy black coloured). Cost you less than ten bucks.
