mhj, before you start cutting into your aluminium bonnet, take time to read this thread.
It talks about best placement on where to put a vent. The best place might not always be the obvious place.

That vent may look good and be well finished, but it has no water trap with it, so when it rains, you'll get water in your intake.
A proper scoop also has other, unseen bits under the bonnet to trap water and other things from getting into the engine.
There's nothing worse that getting cold water all over your engine.
It's not that it hurst the engine much, it's just that it makes it really dirty.
Now, if you have that scoop mounted on your bonnet, with a bloody great hole cut in your bonnet, what happens when you go on a dirt road?
Guess what your engine will be breathing.

checked the web site ....it said in ingrish that it was "good for decoration and can also let cooling air in "
