I'll give you two a bloody good scrubbing with some 50 grade sand paper and and a metho wash down next time I catch you if you like

Only if you have some rainwater for a rinse afterwards

My NC soft top is not folding as easily as it used to. The fabric around the rear window is a little stiffer and so it does not fold as neatly as it did before. I have only washed the rood with water. I once have used a product called "pack wash", which is designed for waterproof back packs, when the roof became very dirty.

Has anybody used any other products? any further thoughts from Mazda?

I've only ever washed the roof with plain water and a wool mitt. I've used normally diluted car wash detergent on the few occasions it has become really grubby. I haven't used any treatments like Scotchgard and such.

I contacted tech reps at Meguiars and Autoglym about 12 months ago.
They had no products that they would recommend for the fabric type material.
They were concerned about how their products would affect the membrane which is in effect the sealing for our roofs.

Things might have changed but for me, it's follow the Mazda instructions, wash with a soft bush.
