We covered the front and most of the sides of the Spider that we take to Targa Tassie...it's a great product.

Did you DIY Lou, or get someone to do it for you. I have had a quote on doing the front of mine and it works out to around $500. I checked with the sign writers next door and the vinyl they use only comes from two sources (one is 3M) and cost is around $40 a roll, so most of the cost is labour. They didn't like the look of the job though because of all the curves involved, and said it would need to be cut up a lot to fit (as Peter Howe found when his was done).

Definitely got it done by them John...we have a bit of a sponsor thing going with them...unfortunately have to drag the car all the way to Brookvale...the new Spider is being done on Tuesday.

It is really expensive but probably worth it...the Spiders have very expensive paint jobs so can't take a chance with them.

I've seen something similar done to Lotus Elise, it very hard to notice it.
I think its worthwile investment if you have stone chip phobia

does the paintwork peel up or flake off when removing these types of products?

The Ozicozi works very well with Race and Rally stuff...

Andrew at Ozicozi Broovale does a great job...the Spider was done last week,you can hardly tell it has it applied.


Suppose to come off without too much trouble but have not tried to take any off.

From what I've read most places guarantee that it will come off without damaging the paint if it is applied over the factory paint, but not for after market paint.

I applied some ozicozi film to key areas of my bike fairing and after 20000km and 20 months it's holding up well. It's great for paint damage caused by small gravelly sort of rocks but big rocks still go through. But the film took the brunt of the damage and there is only a small mark on the paint. I cut the templates and applied the film myself. It was a pretty straight forward job but there's no way I would attempt to do a complex shape like a bumper.
