Huntsman spiders won't hurt you, and they are very good in controlling mozzies and other bugs too.
There are NO vegetarian spiders.
Even if he crawls over you, you'll only feel the tickle of his little feet.

damn things get everywhere! especially when u open the driverside door and they look at you from inside the front quarter!

Could try soaking one of those smelly trees in baygon, and straping it in front of the air intake for the aircon... thatd kill any in the vents! either that or they all come out...

I normally just do it with normal smelly trees instead of hanging it fromt he mirror Depends if you like the smell of \"alpine fresh\" or \"Lemon tree\" :D

had a spider when learning to drive in an old (and i mean OLD) cressida. it decided to hide on the brake arm, and when i went to stop it made a run up my leg. i don't think the car ever stopped so quickly before i was trying to kill the bloody thing. an experience when trying to learn let me tell you.

in most cases just wait a week and they'll reappear. then you can attack with the nearest newspaper or thick ass textbook.

True, it wont hurt but the still do bite (been down that road before :| ) and leave a welt that is very very itchy afterwards. Lets hope its not a red-back though. Ive had them in a car before.

lol.... Funniest thread ever... But my car has seen two huntsmans.... First was sitting in the door sill when the car was at the dealers... I made him kill it before I would test drive the car.

2nd was out driving with a broken leg (cast from toes to knee) and at the lights a dirty big huntsman runs up the bonet and across the windsheild - being a winters night windows and roof were up, so hit the windscreen water and windscreen wipers... all that succeeded in doing was chasing him onto the roof.... Where by me and my female passenger kept flicking the canvas of the roof while driving hoping he would get blown off...

When we arrived at our destination I refused to get out of the car untill my girlfriend had got out and checked it wasnt going to drop on my head the momment I opend the door because I couldnt move very fast being in plaster and on crutches.
