Wednesday was stressful because they forecast rain for Thursday. But thursday morning & could not have asked for a better day. The sun was bright and also had a real bite to it.

patchy was rubbed down once more with 600 grid to prepare for the 2nd coat of primer. Then waxed & degreased.

Here is another pic how patchy looked that morning

Then the 2nd coat of primer went on. There is a real knack to the sweeping movement when spaying. Also a different trick is( which i didn't get qute right with the el chaepo spary gun) to get the paint & air mixture correct.

The bonnet & Rear spoiler got thier coat of primer as well. I had to sand back the bonnet completely because the job on that was pretty tragic.

the job was done

Then things were put back together again on patchy.

then i realised there was a hole lot of other bits which needed doing.
like parts of the front & rear mud flaps & front spoiler as well as the rear view mirrors.

Most of which were sanded back in a shady spot on a seat & my thoughts were getting myslef all psyched up for the real deal.

Then in the evening I went & picked up a hard top for it.
