That's a seriously good effort, engine swap in the street in the middle of a heat wave! Well done you guys!

Well done guys, that’s one hell of an effort!.
I think we can all agree there is a reoccurring trend in this thread......when STM decides to do something he does it!
Again well done guys.

Bloody good effort! That was shocking weather to be swapping an engine in the middle of the street. And thanks for the coil bracket. ;) I didn't make the forum connection at the time.

Hi Paul. So Sorry I didn't have a huge amount of time for you. Maybe next time. But not while changing engines.

No offence taken, I had to hit the road anyway. I'm sure we'll run into one another again.

My 1.8 conversion fired up for the first time last night. :D

Fingers crossed, this weekend?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

So that install on a public road was in Dec 2019. and like Jules said. It is absolutely totally mad. I left a bit of my soul there I recon. LOL. never doing this type of sh*t on a public road ever again.

so It sat there for months. I tried various things without success. There was no spark.Feenix moved house as well jut after Easter. It got towed to church point.

eventually 2 weekends ago Nuno rocks up with some diagrams of the NB8B coils and had Feeninx running in less than 30 min.

Nuno is a total legend

then it turns out. the clutch had been installed the wrong way around.

Probably not the immediate priority, but did you get your Kraken turbo setup yet?

He's always developing changes. Kind of a good thing, constant improvements, but like with technology if you keep waiting for the next promised update you'll never buy! Not that you're in a great rush or anything.

yea Ive been hibernating from the Mx5. Most people will remember 2020 as COVID-19.
Ive had an incredible year. probably one of my best.

Great to hear STM - recall you also mentioning that in Jan-Feb you were going OS, so clearly a busy year with the move on top of that. At least Feenix is running again!
