Seat mount covers

Postby bruce » Tue Sep 20, 2022 5:13 pm

Hi guys,
My car has these plastic covers over the 4 seat bolt mounts. They're not on my NA so are they an NB feature?
Anyway, how do I remove them without destroying the plastic tabs? Had a spare destroyed one in glove box.

I don't know for sure....

...but it looks like you might need to slide it forward (off the front) of the bracket.

The below forum thread suggests they snap on/off.

Thanks.
They are super tight and don't want to move either way. May have to use brute force.

I don't think I have seen one of those, are they factory?

The belt buckle could be NB, but the ones I have seen are mounted to the seat frame with a metal strip rather than a cable (IIRC - I should look at my car  ) which that one appears to be.

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)

Build thread

NB SE - gone to the dark side (and loving it 8) )

Car is a Bullet, seat is a mixture of NA and maybe NB bits.
