Hi all. First topic post!
So, first of all, hi. Read many posts over time, and now I need some info.
I live in Sydney, and have a silver nb8c.
Now the intro is out of the way... I've been looking at bucket seats, and find pretty much none of them have belt mounts on them (that I can see). I use it as a daily, so need the standard seat belts.
Is there a way to legally mount the seat belt lock onto the bucket seat?
Thanks!

Re: Bucket seat belt mounts
Just mount the seatbelt stalk to the transmission tunnel.
I have a six point harness in mine with a sparco seat and mounted the orig stalk to the tunnel to enable me to keep the std belts for when it goes on the road..

Re: Bucket seat belt mounts
I had seat belt mounting points installed into the fixed side mount of my seats.
Doubt they'd pick up on either mounting method for a pink slip if it was done properly.

Ask the RTA.
Simplest way to get he answer, ask the ones who will be deciding what is and isn't legal.
I've got mine on the trans tunnel like rascal, big spreader place etc.
It's safe, but in Vic isn't legal unless I get an engineer to provide me with a report for vicroads.

Thanks clubman. Clearly I as searching for the wrong words.
So turret is fine as long as there is a backing plate to spread the load.

Use your stock rails?
I assume the seat itself is ADR compliant?

Yeah it is. I find the stock rails are a bit high, but if they fit and work, can defo use them in he meantime.

Re: Bucket seat belt mounts
Hi guys, both passenger & i have an issue with the shoulder strap on our 98 NB8A biting into our neck. Surely there's a better solution than the woolly sleeve on the belt? Suggestions appreciated.
