I have a 2001 NB8B that I really enjoy driving, the clutch is good and so is the break pedal, however I've felt that the accelerator pedal is a little light for my liking and can't get the right feel with it.
What can I do to make it heavier? Is there something I can do with the current pedal springs or would I be best to look for a heavier spring?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Acclerator Pedal Too Light
Search through the Garage Chat pages, Rolley re-built the pedal box in his car and posted details of the works that may be food for thought.

Add another spring to the throttle body.

It's an MX5, FFS. Take your boots off and just use your big toe!

Re: Acclerator Pedal Too Light
I have a second spring too. Easier that rebuilding the pedal box, I'm certain (unless pedal box rebuild is a 10 minute job? )
Had to add it for scrutineering once for a track day, almost doubled the required pressure, quite surprised.
Quick, easy, just check that nothing gets stuck, obviously, or you could end up with the second spring holding the throttle open rather than helping it close.
