NB8A front lip

Postby Zanon » Sun Jul 26, 2015 9:37 pm

Hey guys, I've been searching everywhere and trying to find the best deal on a front lip for a NB8A mx5.
From your experiences, are the eBay ones terrible?
Here is one I am eyeing off for example
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/99-00-Mazda- ... 3f432cdc64

Or should I stick to ones from places such as rev9, mx5parts etc

Thanks!

That's a replica of the Garage Vary lip.

I'm not sure what your thoughts are on the whole replica vs real thing, but in this case you may as well go for the real deal.

Since well, the legitimate Japanese part is actually $100 cheaper when you take the postage into account...

Is rev9 the cheapest or would there happen to be a cheaper distributor?

$265
My apology, it;s actually about the same price as the ebay one, I thought it was like $180 but I must have remembered wrong.
Regardless, still the genuine one

Ive also got an NB8A (at least I think thats the one), and I was wondering how I could get the front to look like the NB that has foglights with the lip (because I think it suits much more) compared to my (december) 98 model NB... its something to do with how oval the opening in the bumper is... I should probably preface by saying im a broke ass Uni student with less than 400 to fork out... :frown: :frown: :frown:

For example:

If you want your NB8A to look like a NB8B then you need to buy two NB8B headlights and a NB8B front bumper (and the foglights if not already) and change some wiring.

Chances of doing that for less than $400 are slim....
