I installeld a sparco sprint on stock rails in my se a few months ago how ever im finding I'm a little too short in the leg department. On the stock seat i would nearly have it all the way back and would feel comfortable with my arms on the wheel, in the sprint im way too far forward! im starting to feel like a nanna! and thats with my feet barley pressing the clutch all the way in. Is there any thing i can do to bring the pedals further forward? as its an se it has bolt holes for the ally pedals, was thinking of making some chocks and new pedals to bring them forward. Has any one else done this? tried having a look around google but couldnt find much.
Also does any one have link to a thread where nitro dan makes a mounting bracket for the sprints? saw it a while go and have now since lost it, wouldnt mind taking a gander before i attempt it my self.

I also find the clutch disengagement point to be too far away when the brake and accelerator are at the right distance so I'll be watching this thread for any solutions.
Also interested in alternative mounts for a Sparco Sprint. Lower would be good, so my head is below the roll bar.

I found that with my seat (granted, not a sparco, but still fixed back) my body was too upright and close to the wheel, pedals were ok.
I added a few washers (and a longer high tensile bolt) to space the front of the seat up.
That reclined the backrest a bit, moving my torso away from the wheel, and leaving my legs in about the same position. It also lifted the thigh rest upwards which I preferred to the flat OEM position.

I have the opposite problem, my feet are too close by the time my arms are right and I find a sparco on stock rails too far reclined (we did put a couple of washers just to make sure the sliding mechanism cleared the base of the seat.
If I had a choice I'd probably go more upright with a dished wheel.
Sounds silly but maybe your sitting too far back? I did use the seat further forward on the rails with the sparco then the stock seat.

The angle of the seat hasn't got much to do with it or not in my case, the kick up at the front lifts my legs up too far making my legs too short. May have to figure it out on my own.

I hate thinking about seating position in the mx5..... i cant find any seat that fits in the car and that fits me in the car.
I have serious headroom issues.
For me, the best seat in the car is no seat at all... at least then I can fit my head in the thing, and the rear firewall is the perfect distance from the steering wheel, and its nice and low.
It's just uncomfortable and not really a proper 'seat'.

Upright yes, dished wheel brings me into potential conflict with the POpo though with out a padded center.
