Hey guys,
I have been thinking about getting my SP resprayed, but I'm worried about the rear SP badge. What would be my chances of finding a replacement? I heard that Mazda don't have any, so short of asking here I have no idea.
I was thinking about approaching Mazda to see if they could Ok the re-manufacture of a few badges for us, like we did with the Clubman badges back in 2008.
Any help or input would be very appreciated.

Re: Sourcing an SP badge
If you find out please post back info, I've done a SP replica turbo conversion and would like to pretend I'm an SP!

They are like $25 from Mazda, I recently sourced one from a friend who got them from Mazda.

Re: Sourcing an SP badge
Due to several people incapable of working their brakes I've had a few replaced on my car. As of mid last year Mazda still had them in stock, but the last one I bought cost me around $50. Maybe there's been a price reduction since then.

Called up Mazda and ordered one in, ended up being $57. Thanks for the help.

Re: Sourcing an SP badge
Sounds like Mazda Australia have either found some more SP stickers or got some more made, as a number of forumites were advised by Mazda that they were out of stock back in 2009:

While in contact with Mazda Australia ref the Clubman sticker in 2009, Mazda Aust found about 30 (from memory) two piece SP stickers which they offered to me on the understanding that I make them available to forumite SP owners. I PM'd forumite SP owners to ascertain their interest in buying an SP sticker, & bought & sold the SP stickers to the subsequent positive responders at the purchase price I paid to Mazda.
Great to hear Mazda Aust have found or got more SP stickers, as initial inquiries made back in 2009 indicated it wasn't going to be as economical or easy as getting the Clubman stickers done, as Mazda couldn't for some reason at that time again source them from the original maker, as we did with the Clubman stickers.
