It would have helped to identify the model at the outset. The NC is a projector on Low beam as was the NBP2 whereas the NB P1 was a conventional headlamp with H4's.The projector is a unit in itself. The description of the light performance on the subject assembly is hardly what you would expect from a modern vehicle- the change to non standard has obviously not gone very well. Regardless of what the light source is on OEM they are standard International bulbs and available from quality manufacturers such as Philips and Osram and now at very reasonable prices and from your local retailer. The quality of those light sources will be a lot better than the dodgy HID units from cheap knock off copyists. An Osram or Philips gas discharge light source is signficantly more expensive than halogens. Having to repair a bought light source is not the way to go - it merely identifies how bad the product was.
