Aero's- front dam/splitter, study

Was wondering about effectiveness of the flat splitters. This is interesting, less drag AND more downforce.

Interesting. I didn't read this in detail but at a quick glance, it appears the most efficient / effective one looks remarkably like Patrick Bramston's!

Have a look at the 949 cars, I am thinking Crusher, some good photos on the big board or Emelio's site.

It isn't my idea of pretty, but if 'beauty is as beauty does' ... :wink:

That's no coincidence. There is a big thread on the serious forum (Mt. net) about this very thing and the guy who did this analysis was in the with lots of clever discussion. This is why pats car looks like it does.

Yeah I was thinking of Patricks car and crusher when I read this. I have been wondering about the effectiveness of aeros and hearing different views.

Anyone seen anything on rear aeros?

Diffusers etc ?
Pats car is getting a full floor and diffuser but it hasnt got one yet.

We will see if and how much quicker it is at wakefield next weekend.
