I'm looking at bringing in one of these for my NC
http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?sto ... %20%20BALL
If you are interested in one , PM me and I will see what I can do about getting a few put into the one box for shipping.
Last contact with FM indicated that 3, maybe 4 at a pinch would fit...I will need to confirm that.

Re: (NC) Flying Miata lightweight tow hitch
Been a while but I had heard rumours of problems.
This seems to confirm that.

Re: (NC) Flying Miata lightweight tow hitch
that's one link worth recycling. We also know Mazda do not recommend any towing at all for MX5s and if there was an accident it could void insurance.
Re: (NC) Flying Miata lightweight tow hitch
Not related to the NC but I have an NB with a towbar. It attaches to the end of the chassis rails and really tightens the car right up and reduces scuttle shake. I have however been advised by a couple of people, including the installer that tow bars are not very good for the MX as it basically tightens the thing up to much and can end up causing problems, namely cracks somewhere down the line.
