EOI: Snow Foam Gun

Postby Apu » Mon Jul 02, 2012 6:21 pm

OK, so hingeing off this thread http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=53516

I spoke with CCP and what has been offered is $110 for the Karcher foam gun but we need to get 10 buyers. $110 includes free bottle of foam and delivery. That's about $25 of value in there. Please indicate your interest here!

I'm assuming that you just need to plug in a hose and have access to an electric plug to do this?...

Would something like the Very Berry detergent be suffice as a foaming agent or do we need to get specific products from CCP?...

Good question, I would just try a CCP product and "regular" car wash to see the difference, then decide from there.

That said, car wash from CCP is about $16.

Yup. Karcher's go from $89 and upwards @ Bunnings. You'll need mains power and a tap and youll be in business.

If you dont have a Karcher already i'd consider the one around the $130 mark (more attachments and better quality pump). The 10m extension hose would also be very handy. All up not cheap but if you wash your car regularly its a worthwhile investment.

Good question regarding the agent though... would be ideal if a cheap detergent would work equally as well.
