Guys,
I need advice on the easiest way to change the bonnet hinge on an NA; part of it seems to behind the front guard.

Hi.
Remove all bolts along top of guard and one at rear top seen when you open door. Two at bottom of guard, No need to remove front nose.
when all undone carefully pull guard out from top it doesnt have to go far remove and install hinge. Reverse procedure- done

Re: NA bonnet hinge
Hi Again.
Forgot the most important nut to remove. You will have to remove the inner guard liner which covers the rear section. Once removed look inside the section between the guard and inner panel you will see a bracket with a nut. You will need a long extension bar to undo the nut. Do NOT remove the nut completely just loosen enough to slide the guard out.

Re: NA bonnet hinge
Thanks Ralt it worked a treat.
The RH hinge on my my NA 8 was seized and it was causing the bonnet to bulge in the top RH corner.
Boy am I relieved I don't need to see a panel shop.
