How to clean your engine bay

On a similar note.

Any tips on cleaning the engine bay with the engine still in there?


Last time I used a damp cloth, it must have dripped a little into the plug wells.
The week after I did it the car started misfiring and killed a couple of sets of spark plugs.

i get about 1/2 truck wash and 1/2 water in one of those spray bottles

throw it on all over the engine, let it sit for 5 mins or so

turn the engine on and spray with hose ..just spray away from fuse box

Done it for years...brings the engine bay up like new.
