Hi Guys,
We have recently had some very heavy rain and it seems to be getting into the mx (1993) When getting my son to put the hose on the car while I was sitting in it, the water goes along the "rain rails"? at the bottom of the soft top and then works its way into the car behind the drivers seat, seems to be coming from behind the plastic trim near behind where the door opens. Also its coming in a bit where the rubber trim above the drivers side window is.
So I figure Ill get new rubbers for the windows (any suggestions were, Im in Perth) ........but Im a bit baffled on how to fix the rain rail problem. Can anyone help? Hope I have explained clearly enough. This only happens with very heavy rain.
Water leak

Re: Water leak
Have you checked that the drain holes (located near the seatbelt towers on either side) are not blocked?

Re: Water leak
Thanks Hammer, that was the problem alright. When I unblocked both sides it was like I had broken her waters! I wasnt aware the drain holes were there but when I looked in the tray at the top there was a pool of water sitting there.
Thanks very much for your advice
