Happy to help!
It takes some getting used to and there are drawbacks to the Sparco, like the getting in/out sequence and it has also made putting the roof up whilst sitting down a decent task but this is largely due to the roll bar I have mixed with the high seat back of the Sparco.
I've left the passenger seat standard as I know the gf already has a hard time being 'lady like' when getting into the car so she'd shoot me if I made her get into a Sparco in a skirt!
Overall though, well well worth it
My NB 99 seats suck !

Yeah thanks. When you are spending $400 plus on more toys...validation certainly helps. I got SportEssentials here in Melbourne to do the install for me. The guy there is so nice and honest...you don't feel bad handing him money. : ) I am also leaving the passenger seat unchanged.
I am also getting Brown Davis roll bar and some chassis rail installed today so it should be fun. Hopefully my NB will look more macho now ! Time to stop spending money on the car ! I will send some pics and video footage as soon as I am done.

Re: My NB 99 seats suck !
The NB8B seats are very good, very comfy. I don't think I would want the leather as the cloth is less slippery.
The problem with Sparco is that they are fixed. If you aren't happy with the angle tough titties.
That said I would swap in an instant for the graduated Mazdaspeed. I love the seat covering and there is more side bolster.

With the sparco, I find that it is perhaps a little too hard for long distance driving because of the lack of cushioning in the seat. Also, being a midget, I have to push the seat quite bit forward to reach the pedals comfortably, which then cramps the room for flailing my arms about...
That said, I would find it very hard to go back to my standard seat, as it had absolutely no lateral support at all. Switching to the sparco added 30hp to the seat-pants-dyno. It's that much better.
For longer drives, i just put a (discreet black) towel folded up 30cm^2, which does well to get me over the steering wheel and softens the bumps for me..
If only I could find somewhere I could get some high-density foam / seat back-cushion thingo that just lifts me 1" from the base and the back... At the mo, the left wing of the sparco digs into my shoulder unless i drive ummm... spiritedly..
