After a month of waiting my little pack of touch-up paint has arrived from the UK.
Mania didn't have any, and a search at a Mazda dealer spares outlet turned up nothing in the whole country When I told the guy the paint code (3L, for a '93 Silver NA6) his jaw dropped. 'How old is the car?' he said. I don't suppose there's much call for this kind of thing for older cars in his day-to-day work.
Those scratches are history now!
Cheers,
Chuppa

You could have gone to your local Auto1 retailer and got them to mix you one. All you need is the paint code and they can make it for you.
You can have it in either a pressure pack can or a container with a brush like you got from the UK.
Cost anywhere from $24 to $27 each.

Good to know Hammer thanks. May need to get some mixed up at a later date as I'm thinking of retrofitting power mirrors which would almost certainly involve a respray.

RETRO Fit. Noooooooooooooooooooooo...
think Museum Spec......
As Mazda engineers intended....
If you want paint finish take it to a local (contract Paint shop) get then to match the colour then they can adjust it to your cars with a colour check.... I mixed paint once or twice... that way it looks perfect strait off the gun... well worth the extra $$$$ so your car doesn't look like a Lebonese Kebab....
