What paint to use Acrylic.......Basecoat with Clearcoat.

so if i was to do acrylic with clear top coat......do i need to buff back the acrylic before the clear goes on?

If you want it to look great then yes, It only takes a quick rub with 600. Clear will keep it shiny for longer but eventually detieriorates, goes yellow and peels off which is terrible. The straight acrylic just takes a polish bring it back shiny until the paint is gone of course.

I have a full acrylic paint rack in the garage. What is the red you are after I will check if i have and how much is there? Keen to get rid of the whole rack set up. also have quite a bit of pearl if after a certain type? I am in penrith.
