Bomex Front nose bar

Postby geofiz » Tue Nov 16, 2010 11:07 pm

I have been looking at these for a while, and just got a quote for $510, + $230 shipping from SA to Perth.

Has any fitted one, and if so how was the quality?

Is this a reasonable price?

Will it look out of place without side skirts?

Any other comments? :?:

Thanks,

quality is average on most replica bodykits, mine doesn't fit too good, but I'm not too fussed about it.

For just the bumper? I don't think so unless it's a genuine bomex piece.

The front will hang much lower then the side, IMO even OEM side skirts look a little out of place due to the height difference.

if you do get one, remember it's fibreglass and it's alot easier to damage the bottom skirt on driveways etc, that bein said it is also alot easier to repair fibreglass.

Have a look around my blog, and punch in bomex in the search function. I had the same dilema that you did, I ended up getting matching side skirts. Http://RoadsterGarage.net

Thanks for the advice and comments. That price is for brand new, shipped to my door from autostyling.

Hmm, more research and hunting required. My NB8A front is looking very rough, and they are a little boring IMO.
