Where can I buy....

Postby deviant » Wed Dec 08, 2010 3:48 pm

My car is being stripped for trackwork and I need something to plug up my ariel hole. I also need to plug up a couple of holes in the firewall where AC hoses used to run through.

Where can I buy a bag of various sized rubber plugs?

Maybe if I can't get anything for the firewall holes I could just sikafelx some ally over the AC holes or something?

My first suggestion was going to be NSFW! Failing that, Repco and supercrap have the champion bolt display thingos you can spin around, they also have grommets and clips etc in the same display. If you can't get the right size there coventrys will definitely have them.
Street='94 with FFS Coldside. Sold :(
Race='97 with AVO (soon to be Absurdflow) and GT2560 <--- sod that... LS1 conversion underway!

Clarks ( if in WA) also carry grommets and you should be able to buy singularly. You can also plug them with Butyl tape but a grommet is more elegant.

Repco...I tried supercheap for some of this stuff but they were bloody useless. I need to go in there to get some occy straps and a new gasket anyway, phwoar it is all getting a bit NSFW!

Butyl tape looks easy but looking at the images on google it looks like the adhesive would get all gummy and weird with heat.
