NB8B Armrest issue
I have an NB8B and have been driving it for about 12 months and enjoying it heaps apart from one small issue, the door pull/armrest on the drivers side is in just the right position where it digs into the side of my thigh and after a decent thrap in The Hills leaves my leg pretty sore.
I am 6ft and apart from that fit in the car well
Anyone else have this issue and if so is there a fix apart from removing the armrest – which I am considering doing
Cheers
Mike

Move the seat forward. Most people have it too far back and end up with a stretched driving position, which among other things can mean that you're holding the wheel too tightly while trying to hold yourself upright or in the seat when cornering. I'm also 6ft, and my seat would only be 3/4 of the way back at most. It will feel strange at first, but once you get used to it you'll wonder how you ever sat so far back. This was first suggested to me at an advanced driver training course, and is so much more comfortable than sitting back.

Interesting I never thought of doing that, so you dont have issues with your legs being too cramped ?
I will try on the way home
Thanks for the reply

No it's fine. It's just that your knees are bent a bit, which they're designed to do anyway The clutch will feel strange at first, but if you give the idea a few days or a week, you'll get used to it. I find it quite a relaxing position actually.
