Mobile Tinting?

What is the general feeling for mobile tinting?

My tinting on the 5 is dead and iv usually used Solaris for my tinting requirements but I don't currently run a second car so I won't be able to leave it overnight. So just wondering if there are any problems with Mobile tinting companies.

Can anyone in sydney that has used one and are happy with the work please recommend me one?

con, i have a contact who you can take the car to.. he's based in croydon. does a top job. charged me $130 for my tints. that's the 2 windows, quarter windows, and rear window

Croydon is not to far from work, if i book a time in he might be able do it for me during an extended lunch.... Is he mobile or does he have a shop?

he's not mobile. he does it in his backyard. takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.

no receipt, but if there are any probs, just give him a yell, he'll fix it up for you.

i think the guarantee was a year or two, can't really remember.. it's been a while since i've had my car tinted.. (over a year ago, if that helps). no problems at all

I got mine done at Tint A Car one morning before work while I waited... Took just under an hour. 25 year warranty and receipt!

Excellent! Can I ask which tint you went for and how much you paid?
