Good seatcovers?

Postby crzymx » Wed Nov 19, 2008 9:50 pm

I had a good friend of the family quote me 8-900 for 1500 dollars worth of work which included black leather with charcoal suade inner and suade inserts on the doors. Good price but not good for me :S

I was looking at 4-500 !!
DIY is the new black!

At 500 you could get a new seat like a sparco sprint V.

Actually anyone know of lightweight seat with removable seat cover, so you can clean love stains off it easy and shed the weight when you hit the track?

There was a company on EBay which if I recall was australian, they used Synthetic Leather which is far more durable than real leather, you cannot tell the difference except possibly if you are into sniffing your seats. They are also DIY but I was a little suprised that they were selling 2 MX-5 covers for the same price as any 4 seat car sets $550-650 - I felt a little ripped off by that.
I'd be interested in a group buy if the price was good .....
