Clay barred the car today, polished using Megires Deep Crystal and then used the Meguires Canauba wax.
Is there any benefit in giving the car another coat of wax or should one coat do the job.
Have seen reference in the forum to people doing more then one wax coat
Pleased with the end finish so far

You only need one coat.

The wax is the protect all the hard work you did ie [cleaning, claying, polishing]

When the car gets dirty again, just wash it like you normally would, then apply another coat of wax and detailer.

my personal opinion... 2 or 3 thin layers gives the best result....

Meguires Canauba wax has a thick texture... i would suggest 2 layers....

It depends on the wax. Some wax's have cleaners in them which prevent layering, NXT is one such wax. there are wax's that really benefit from layering such as P21S and optimum car wax, as well as the dodo range.
