spray painter in Brisbane

Postby 16bit » Mon Jan 14, 2008 3:10 pm

A mate is after a good spray painter in Brisbane to re paint is MKII Escort. He wants someone that is good but not 15-20 grand a pop good. The job is to cut some rust out and bare metal respray in a yet to be decided colour (thinking 997 GT3 RS green).

What JBT means, in short, is DON\"T GO TO BCM.

Why not give one of our new Queensland sponsor, Caldwell Panel and Paint (I think that is their full name) a go.

Send OMY005 a PM.

Try Caldwell Paint & Panel 2/4 Lapis St Underwood - 0417 375 356. Club sponsor, seems very keen. I've not used them and have no first hand reports.

Has anyone tried Caldwell Panel & Paint and can give me some feedback about them. Would like to support someone who supports the club.

last time i asked no one owned up so i was a bit shocked that them being a sponsor and no one have given them a go

Anyway I'm getting a quote from them and hopefully this time round the insurance will pick them and I'll be able to give them a go myself

Caldwell are only a fairly recent sponsor - last 6 months or so. Just because no one on here hasn't used them doesn't mean he doesn't do a good job, someone has to be the first :) :P
Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever.

From all accounts, Adrian does a great job......however, I have no desire to be put in a position where I need to avail myself of his services. :D

oh ok

well i got a quote from them and Brisbane Collision Centre and the insurance comp ended up picking BCC (obviously because its there recommended repairer)

I went to Caldwell yesterday and Adrian actually remembered my name and my car surprisingly

Anyway this time I've got Sureline doing the quote and Caldwell

Hopefully this time Caldwell will get the job
