Sliq as the guys pointed out axle stands are tried and proven- maybe ones with good adjustment are useful. Horses for courses- what job you are doing has to be considered If you are wanting to remove wheels ramps are no value. For oil changes NB friendly ramps would be good. Bigdog is spot on about a fail safe- no fun in dropping a 1 tonne car.PS always chock the wheels.
