I've had a claim with Shannons, as has my father, and they were the easiest claims I've ever made.
The only form I ever saw was the one I signed to say I picked up the car when it was finished!
Couldn't have been easier or better.
With my claim, I thought they would repair the rear bumper, as it was just slightly cracked, but the Shannon's assessor said no, it has to have a new skin.
Can't ask for ayy better than that.

Actually Just Car are really easy to deal with as well when doing claims stuff. They certainly make it easy for you, but you'd wanna hope so considering the excess (and underage excess at that).
But yes, NRMA insurance is now avoidable material going off what everyone else reckons. Not that I was inclined to go with them in the first place. Just that I thought we were talking about roadside assistance rather than their car insurance.
Meanwhile, called Hume Smash today. I'm now in the 2 week waiting queue to have the car fixed. Not really a drama as the next two weeks aren't overly good for putting the car in for repairs, so that works out well.
Only problem is that I think the car will be MIA for the weekend of my mates' wedding, and I really wanted to cruise up to Manly in the '5
