Thinking of getting a style bar.

My car a 98 mx5 with windjammer. Does anyone have instructions for fitting style bar with windjammer.

Can be done...

You need to:

Remove windblocker...

Install stylebar...

Line up wind blocker on a different angle and drill a couple new holes.

The Style bar and Re-install of a WindBLOCKER is a 1.5 hour job at a Dodgy Day. if you supply BEER, we will supply wingzzz.

The $200 bars off Ebay are great.. a lot of us have them already.

Look up \"racing beat\" - the instructions are there for the RB copies.

The "Windjammer" :D can be fitted with the Racing Beat Style 2 bar. Click here for the instructions.

I know a few forum members in QLD have fitted it themselves - there was a forum topic of this last year. I'm sure you'll find the topic if you search this forum. They might be willing to lend a hand.

If you were in Sydney, I'd say get it fitted by MX5mania - which is what I did for my RB 2 bar. I initially contemplated doing it myself, But after looking at the tools that I need (w/c I had to buy most - as I don't have any of it), it was more convenient to let the professionals do it. I'm glad I did, after watching them do it. :D

JULES was kind enough to help me fit mine..

We are not Proffesionals by any means. Its not a hard task to do. The hardest thing was trimming the plastic for a neat fit and a sturdy pair of hobby scissors fixed that.

Don't be afraid to have a go yourself. The worst that can happen is all the plastic trim gets trashed.. and then you just see more 'BLING' anyways.

As I said.... get all the stuff and do it next Dodgy day, you'll have about 5 pairs of hands that have already done one handy.

Shipping for 2 together is cheaper from memory !

Send a PM to JULES for the hardware you need to complete the install. We got it all in a 10min trip to Bunnings...

GO THE BLING BAR !! Every QLD'r should have one !
