BRB installed and GO

Postby zoomzoom » Sun Apr 08, 2007 9:26 pm

Hooked up the brb, it isnt really that big, just enough that it will still fit in the stock button inserts on the NA next to the dashlight dimmer switch. Hooked it up so it will only work when the car is in ON with the key and the immobiliser is dissarmed. I managed to figure out how to make it glow with the inbuilt LED when the car is switched to on but go out when the car starts.

It does look pretty cool especially when it glows, although it is allbut useless :D

May try to get some pics if anyone is interested, Boags certainly was :D

Just made it up myself using a relay and a switch from jaycar(the largest red button they had) It looks great when it glows at night.

It's a Big Red Button.

Insert key, turn key to \"on\" and press button to start car.

Very cool little gimmick... 8)

Yeah, I really like the bigger (more bling) start buttons, but for the outlay (a few pennies) I am very happy with my lrb. After seeing Tim's, I had to have one...
