For a while now, every now and then the headlights would pop up!
Usually with the lights on.
Not always now though do the light come on when they pop us on their own...
Most often when the car is sitting on its own- so have now met all the neighbours who come and tell me the lights are on...
The lights are popped up now as I type!
Lights are not on but.
Its getting hard to get them to go down too...
Sometimes the only way is to put the switch onto parkers.
Any suggestions?
I do have a difficult alarm system too???
THanks,
David

Like the others I suspect that it is your indicator/light stalk...but you can try this,
Near the emergency flasher button on the dash (above radio, below air vents) is a button the activates the pop up lights. Normally this is used to rasie the lights without turning the lights on, handy for cleaning the headlights. Make sure that the electrical plug at the back of the switch is plugged in tightly. If it is loose the lights can act stranglely......how ever the lights do not normally come on if its that dash button that is the problem.

my car does this also.... when its really hot the little plastic return spring in the light stalk softens and makes the lights turn on.. i have the \"flash to pass\" diode fitted so it makes them pop up too....only way to fix is to maybe shim the plastic spring or get another stalk...
