Your problem is they are from car mate!
ny front bar was from there and short @ either wheel arch
I had to extend it 25mm on both sides for it to line up!

what sort of side skirts are they?

Little trick for extending skirts is to cut them where the front quater panel meets the rocker sill
that way you don't have to take the whole side skirt off to get the front panel off
and it means you can extend legnth of it at a small section not a bigger section like around the wheel arches

I did the above to mine and it looks factory
It also lets the car twist etc without cracking the paint which will happen if your skirts are sealed onto the car
