$300 is a bargain if they're doing the lot for you.

It's not hard to take the frame off and remove the top and then put it all back on again, but it is a pain in the backside. I'd say set aside the best part of a day for removal and the same for installation (especially if you haven't done it before). Take your time and be careful - you don't want to tear the top or break the rain rail.
