Yay...New bits for me!

Hey guys,

Finally got myself a new seat.. :D It went in no worries at all, mounted to the original rails. Its a Autotecnica A999bk Narrow. Fits like a glove, and its ADR approved. The photo makes its look a different color, but in real life its fine..

I also made a DIY armrest out of the console lid.. Now it's all soft and comfy. It came out better than i expected, looks like it was supposed to be there.. 8)

Very nice! Do you sit much higher than in the stock seat?

That centre console looks excellent IMO. Nice work! :) I'm going to get something very similar done to my centre console in the near future, I don't like the feel of the stock one...

You sit about standard height in the seat, but the cussions can be removed, and altered so that you sit lower. The main difference was in legroom. I got *alot* more, which was good coz im 6ft tall.

and yeah the feel of the stock console lid is terrible, thats why i did the mod.

Your car keeps getting better and better green comet. Dumb question but how do you buckle up the seatbelt. From looking at the pics it doesn't look like there is much room there.

Ben

PS The cockpit brace is fantastic. Thanks

Glad you like the brace mate...

The seatbelt has plenty of room to fit, the pics just make it look like a tight fit.
Ill take another pic soon to show you how i mounted it.. :D
