Hello everyone,
i tried to respray my wheels today with a can of enamel gloss black paint, the paint won't stick, it sits on the surface and forms 'holes' where there is no paint. The surface is pre-painted already and in top condition (i just don't like bronze, i want black), I wiped it down before spraying.
Is there any way of getting the paint to stick without sanding the original paint off etc. ?
paint wont stick, any ideas?

You need to either go over them with a rag dipped in Prepsol (which removes any trace of oils) or give them a light sanding all over to make the paint stick.
If you're going to paint them black anyway, a good sanding would be the best preparation for them.

Silicone from the tyre shine stuff is causing your problem of the paint not sticking, forming holes is the giveaway.
You will need something like this to get it off.
Andrew.
