I wouldn't mind some cheap carbon fibre parts - maybe we should all chip in to send someone over to Japan and go shopping - and come back with a little excess luggage!
Im in Japan right now... I dont speak the language and have no idea where everything is
Im gonna head off to the us in a few hours and then drop back to Japan for a week in about 3 weeks time so hopefully I can locate Garage Vary as well as Autoworks Dewa...
I just need to convince my better half that Im going to try and purchase a body kit / Carbon Bonnet and possibly a full AWD gauge cluster
Garage Vary isn't a shop, it's a factory, so AFAIK it won't do you any good going there. If you're in Tokyo and need to find a place that can order it in, go to www.carshop-nagano.co.jp PM me if you need directions...I don't think Carshop Nagano can get AWD clusters in, but you can certainly try asking...

Thanks for that kula,
I checked out the AWD site and they recommend that we go to a US site to order it...
Did AWD speak english or did you need to speak in Japanese? Hopefully 2 days is all it will take and that they may deliver to AUS if they can't get it done in time.

Re:
[quote="pluto"]So, RDM, how are you progressing in your quest for cf bits? Have you found any likely websites? What kinda $ are we talking?

No luck as yet... but have to admit I've been more focused on getting some other stuff sorted first. My 16" wheel debacle is still ongoing... still waiting for confirmation of 15" race wheels. Only just sorted out some slotted rotors this morning (DBA 4000 series).. Thanks Daz.
Pads next, bucket seat after that, half cage and harness after that... then off to club racing... Woohoo!!!

Whilst looking for parts for my own 5 ive come accross some places which may be of help to those wanting to 'rice' the car up:
Japan Parts
MX5 Mart NZ
BT Revolution
Motoware
With these places if you cant find what you want on the site don't dispare, as most of them ship on a adhoc basis. So inquire with them and they can prob get you what your after.

I think you should buy from the forum sponsor http://www.mx5mania.com.au
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I agree with Okibi MX5 Mania is great. The places i have recommened are for those who cannot find what the need from Mania, or have a small budget
Another place is MX5 Parts UK
But the same as mania it all depends on your budget.
