Nothing like a good fitting bra...

Postby Rocky » Mon Sep 04, 2006 10:14 pm

Well the 'Perfect Fit' Car Bra from Carbras.com has been received from the US & is now on the car (temporarily as I intend to use it only on trips). All up cost US$90. + $40. shipping ) Quite a nice product & an overall good fit but no mesh in the grille or clear plastic in front of lights. Relatively easy to take on & off the car in a few minutes with the fit around the number plate the most difficult.
Fitting instructions are very poor with an inadequate pamphlet with useless blurry photos. What you would imagine is a completely foolproof job had a couple of traps for young (or old in my case) players. My previously pristine aluminium bonnet now has two tiny dings in the surface due primarily to my stupidity but contributed to by useless instructions.
Installation of the snap connectors for the Bra result in removal of three plastic fasteners in the front of each mudguard which leaves the black plastic mudguard liner flapping about when the Bra is not on.
If anyone else is thinking about buying one of these just PM me & I will talk about fitting issues.
