Broken Gauge

Postby sharyl » Wed Aug 02, 2006 2:11 pm

I've got a voltsmeter and I sorta accidentally dropped it on the ground now the needle just hangs. Anyone know how to fix it.... is it possible to take it apart and fix the needle or did I just waste $70 :frown:

there's a small spring inside which gives the needle resistance to move (at least on the ones i've destroyed), it brakes quite easily. you would ahve to pull it apart to find the exact type required for your one, most people tend to just buy a new one so as to ensure accuraccy.
